'Recorder' campaign design

Brief: change the perception of the recorder, and reposition it as a covetable and edgy instrument.

Demographic: 25-30 year old discerning music enthusiasts with a penchant for DJs.

​

Solution: I designed an event where high-profile DJs perform using sampled sounds created with the recorder. The visual language of the event incorporates the modulation effect displayed on the interface of music production software, and uses circles to represent the universal symbol for recording as well as the holes on a recorder.
