Brief: Develop a visual identity for a university research network called ‘Beyond Radical: Queer Theory and the UK’. The network was developed in response to the transitional moment in queer theory where the radical motivations have shifted to more pressing and politically urgent areas in gender and sexuality studies such as trans studies. 

 

Demographic: Academics and university students

Solution: In response to the brief, I developed a visual language that encompasses this transitional nature using mutable cloud-like gradients comprised of queer signifiers.
